The goal of Lakeview Learning Center is to motivate students with disabilities to learn with a focus on high-interest areas.

We integrate counseling and a comprehensive behavior management system within a small, structured and therapeutic setting.

We are currently open for in-person, hybrid and remote-only instruction.  


Lakeview Learning Center

We provide a traditional academic and college-prep curriculum meeting common core standards in addition to a variety of career and technical offerings.

Our guiding philosophy allows Lakeview Learning Center to make a real difference in the lives of students with disabilities and, ultimately, assist them in transitioning into productive members of their communities.​


Lakeview Learning Center is an alternative therapeutic private special education school approved through the NJ Department of Education that accepts middle and high school students with behavioral, emotional and/or learning disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, Aspergers, anxiety, bipolar disorder and psychiatric/mood disorders. An IEP containing a set of goals and objectives is specifically developed for each student according to his or her levels of functioning and academic, behavioral, and social needs. Each student experiences an individualized educational program in a therapeutic setting which includes academic subjects in addition to electives such as art, automotive technology and cosmetology.
