Lakeview Learning Center

Our mission is simple: To create learning success stories, one student at a time.

Our guiding philosophy allows Lakeview Learning Center to make a real difference in the lives of students with disabilities and, ultimately, assist them in transitioning into productive members of their communities.

Lakeview Learning Center is an alternative therapeutic private special education school approved through the NJ Department of Education that accepts middle and high school students with behavioral, emotional and/or learning disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, Aspergers, anxiety, bipolar disorder and psychiatric/mood disorders. An IEP containing a set of goals and objectives is specifically developed for each student according to his or her levels of functioning and academic, behavioral, and social needs. Each student experiences an individualized educational program in a therapeutic setting which includes academic subjects in addition to electives such as art, automotive technology and cosmetology.

We integrate counseling and a comprehensive behavior management system within a small, structured and therapeutic setting.
